The author truly understand feel about the main character. Mrs. Bamjee faces the government but she keeps on fight.

 Tragic story, Because author want us to feel sad and cry at the same time. Anger, Because the Indian African people were catches by the government.

  Author attitude is quite strong. The author like and trust the main character, Because even though the main character were put in jail she still fight the government.

Yes, I am very happy about Mrs. Nazip Bamjee did,but she help because she doesn't want such things happen to her family.

This story for me it dosen't have any senses to feel, but you just have to understand the story and feel it with your heart so you could understand this story.

My reactions I want to share to everybody that this story is very good for me. It not one of the best story of all but for me its one of my top ten story in my heart.

ELIJAH OF BUXTON (Summary 4)

Elijah is not happy with his spending times Sundays at church. This Sunday they are going on a picnic at Lake Erie. When Emma told Cooter and Elijah they are having misinterpreted with Mr. Travis comment in Latin. Elijah think that just her only jealousy toward him.

On a buckboard they are many people and Elijah mother and Mrs. Holton stop talking about their times in slavery. His mother remember being separated as a girl from her mother forced to accompany their white family on a trip to Flint Michigan. She miss her mother very badly and when they are form together and she said that she had been there by Canada. Her mother slaps her three times. She's been very angry about her daughter did not try to get away to Canada when she could.

Mr. Leroy came to ask Spencer Elijah's father how he can get his family out. He feels like there's no time left, because he has been sick for a while. The Preacher Zephariah remember a man just outside of Detroit who still pretended to buy slaves for his pity and free to there freedom. Elijah father has notice about this, but the Preacher is willing to go and get Mr. Leroy's family just for the pleasure of seeing them walk into the Settlement.

 Spencer questions what they really know about Zephariah he does no live in the Settlement,but he doesn't have regular work he carries a pistol and comes and goes. Spencer insists that someone go with the Preacher rather than let him go alone with all that money. Leroy confronts Elijah for his opinion about the Settlement.

Elijah of Buxton (Summary 3)

Elijah was offered by the Preacher to the carnival owner as "Ahbo," and said that he's  last surviving person of the African Chocote tribe, and that he has no parents. He said that  Ahbo's father was the king of the Chochotes. He also claimed that Elijah learned his craft by killing giant Bama bees that attack in ten.

MaWee was a child who worked with the conjurer before Samuel had been hired. a black child who is feeling scare that Elijah may take his jobs as the target of Madame Sabarr's grapes. Roberts had felt that the people of Buxton would not like seeing a black child get hit with grapes and temporarily hired the white child instead. MaWee was bought by "Massa" Charles, the carnival's owner. He tells Elijah about the horrid living.

Emma Collins was been mentioned in the story many times was the second free-born child in the Settlement.When Flapjack talk slowly Elijah saw that the people hiding in the woods, since they have realized that when this happens the people are so scare that it will takes a gentle child to bring them out of the woods. When the slaves come out from hiding Elijah's father make fun of the man who is afraid to believe they have actually made it to Buxton. The family screams and wails and hugs when they realize they have made it to freedom. there is a woman, a baby, a boy and girl, and a father. Their emotion makes Emma to cry.

Buxton Liberty Bell is a gift from Philadelphia to Elijah. The bell is part of a special ritual that takes place when newly free runaways reach the town. The bell is rung twenty times for each person and each one climbs the rope and places their left hand on the bell. When the bell rings everyone in the settlement stops what they are doing and comes to the schoolhouse to welcome the new people and to decide who will help them with what. Elijah's father send his speech to the new family and assuring them that this is the most beautiful day ever now that they have reached freedom.

ELIJAH OF BUXTON (Summary 2)

Elijah now comes to know that the Preacher is not trustworthy. Elijah remembers the days at school when the students were excused and escorted home which had been a sure sign that something was wrong. Outside, the guys of the town were equipped with weapons, they were prepared for slave catchers who would ask them ways to Buxton. The Preachers went to the south to find them, and nothing happened. 


Since Elijah was curious he sneaked out at night and he saw a huge white stallion with a rider that had blood on its flank.  After three days the Preacher showed up with a mystery pistol and fancy holster and he said that he found them in the woods, but the people were suspecting him and they began to make up stoires about what really happened. Elijah thought that the Preacher found the two men.


Elijah heared that Mr. Travis is teaching both Sabbath classes and publish school. Cooter thinks that  Mr. Travis is working up over the lesson he has planned lately. Mr. Travis was not watched over lately so he is trying to get away with teaching this. Mr. Travis sees Cooter smiling and twists his ear. Cooter had not shown Mr. Travis the proper respect in town the day before and he wants the children to learn some respect for their them.

The preacher came to let Elijah know a carnival is coming to the his house area. Cooter mother has already told him that he can't go. The preacher tried to make Elijah feel guilty.
At carnival they accepted the booth of Madame Sabbar who was killed 541 lions in the jungles of Sweden with her slingshot. Theres are no lions in Sweden , because she had killed them all. Elijah has never known anyone who has ever even seen a lion and this makes him shake. She uses her skills aiming at a bullseye and putting out flames with marbles. Mawee, a little white boy who is supposedly a member of the savage Mobongo tribe emerges, and magically blinds Madame Sabbar. Elijah recognizes person as Jimmy.

Spectator Sports Theater

The place that we everyone could have an entertainment. The place is located at every single mall. Inside in has a chair in different sizes and a one big screen in front. Sometime we also feel like we are in a space. At the door will always have an officer to guide you to your own seat. Inside that place is cold and dark. In that place there's a couple of rules we should follow.First turn off the cell phone. Second keep quiet. Third do not run around. Fourth do not kick the chair in front of you. The screen was big and clear. The chair was comfortable and soft. We could be chilling there in the theater. There are also many kinds of different people that use to watch movie some are couple, friend, and some are single. There are also some of the type of movie that I knew (Animated, Action, Comedy, Urban, and Mystery.) After we finish our film we people usually went to the restroom to freshup ourself and find something to eat. You can do does thing in the theater. Have fun in the theater.
