1. What is the author's attitude towards actions or events?

The author truly understand feel about the main character. Mrs. Bamjee faces the government but she keeps on fight.

2. In the story humorous or tragic or frightening? Does the author want you to laugh or cry, to  feel happy or sad, to experience anger or fear?

 Tragic story, Because author want us to feel sad and cry at the same time. Anger, Because the Indian African people were catches by the government.

  Author attitude is quite strong. The author like and trust the main character, Because even though the main character were put in jail she still fight the government.

  • Family, because even one of the family member got into trouble they still help each other.

  • Love, Zanip Bamjee worried and cared about her friend

  • Yes, Mrs. Bamjee care for the black community. She present like a black knight.

  • Yes, Because the government try to get rid of the neigbornhood away in the black community.

1. What scenes, moments, descriptive passage, phrases, or words stand out in you're reading of the story?
The scenes that i'm proud of or like it is when Mrs. Nazip Bamjee help people that needed helped.

2. Did a particular image make you feel happy, or frightened, or disturbed, or angry? Why?
Yes, I am very happy about Mrs. Nazip Bamjee did,but she help because she doesn't want such things happen to her family.

3. Which of your five senses did this image appeal to? What do you associate with this image, and why? What do you think the author wants you to feel about a certain image?
This story for me it dosen't have any senses to feel, but you just have to understand the story and feel it with your heart so you could understand this story.

4. How do you think you reactions to the imagery in the story contribute to the overall meaning of the story?
My reactions I want to share to everybody that this story is very good for me. It not one of the best story of all but for me its one of my top ten story in my heart.

   Mr. Bamjee ~ Food and vegetable vender
   Jimmy ~ Son who had the same political views as his mother
   Girlie ~ Daughter who felt the same way as her brother and mother.

Mrs. Zanip Bamjee was a political person who feel like wanted to help the people that needed a help.
She helped her community by making leaflets and protesting against the government.

Mrs. Zanip Bamjee was a mother, she was very poor person, but she had 9 children. She is a kind person.

Mrs. Bamjee was arrested by the government for helping the activist and her family
